Essay on
Pollution - The problem of pollution is one of the
most serious problems facing human society today. The rapid increase in
pollution in the last few decades has started questioning the existence of life
itself. All the countries of the world are worried about losses from this.
Scientists from all over the world are publishing reports related to pollution
every day and warn us about the impending danger.
Pollution literally means dirt. The dirt that has spread around us
and which holds all the inhabitants of the earth is called pollution. Pollution
can be broadly divided into three categories - air pollution, water pollution, and noise pollution. All these three types of pollution are proving harmful to
human health. Air and water are nature-provided living things. Both these
things have a huge hand in sustaining the origin and life of organisms. Where
all living things breathe in the air, they use water to drink. But both of
these things have become very dirty nowadays.
Till a few decades ago no one took the pollution problem seriously. It was normal for
all human beings to get resources from nature. At that time very few people
could think that indiscriminate use of resources can also harm. No matter we
have a tendency to take from nature, nature can regenerate as several
resources. It seemed as if the reserves of nature are unlimited, will never
end. But as the population started growing, the exploitation of natural
resources also increased. Forests were cut, lands were dug for ores. Machines
accelerated this work. The effect of the Industrial Revolution was visible to
the people on the environment. The forests began to fade. Instead, big
buildings, factories started opening up. Due to this, the problem of pollution
came to our head.
Types of Pollution:-
Today, the air of the
cities has become very polluted due to pollution that it has become difficult
for humans to breathe. Smoke emanating from trains and factories dissolves
poison in the air. This is rapidly increasing air pollution. Pollution has
crossed the danger mark in the country's capital, Delhi. The waste discharged
from the factories is dumped in rivers and drains. Due to water
pollution, it has become difficult for people to get potable water.
Chemical fertilizers used as fertilizer in the field have started making the
field barren. Due to this, also the problem of land pollution has become
serious. In this way, pollution is increasing, but the forests that are needed
to remove pollution are decreasing day by day.
The main reason for air
pollution is the mixing of different types of impure gases in it. Due
to the human activities in the air, polluted elements like carbon dioxide,
carbon monoxide are being found in large quantities. Dirty waste containing
chemical waste has flowed into the water in cities. This leads to water
reserves; As ponds, rivers, lakes and seawater are continuously getting
polluted.
The main cause of noise pollution is constant noise due to the increasing population. The clutches of household utensils, the clutches of
machines and the rhetoric of instruments are increasing day by day. The noise of
vehicles, screams of equipment and different types of sounds coming from all
four directions are giving rise to noise pollution. In metros, noise pollution
is at its height.
Earth's temperature is increasing due to pollution. There are many holes in
the ozone layer. Animals are dying in rivers and oceans. The weather is
changing in many countries. Sometimes it is raining heavily and sometimes it is
not raining at all. This is causing a lot of damage to agriculture. The ice of
the poles is melting, which increases the risk of drowning in the countries and
cities along the sea. The Himalayan glaciers are melting. Due to which rivers
like Ganga, Yamuna, and Brahmaputra are likely to disappear.
In such critical times, it has become necessary that all the countries of
the world come together to control this problem of pollution. Nature cannot be
destroyed for industries. When life itself is in danger, what will be the
industries that make life comfortable? More recently (December 12, 2015) 19
countries of the world gathered in Paris, the capital of France, to control
pollution. Together they have decided that the temperature of the earth will
not be allowed to rise more than two degrees above the current temperature. It
has been a step in the right direction since late. If it was actually
implemented, the Paris session would prove to be a golden ray of hope for
mankind.
In the modern scientific era, the complete abolition of pollution has
become crooked. Several kinds of governmental and non-governmental efforts have
up to now proven inadequate. It is, therefore, clear that unless the people do
not take an active part in this work at the private level, it is impossible to
deal with this problem. Everyone should not let garbage and garbage collect
around. Hopefully, we'll take the correct steps to protect the atmosphere and
protect the next generation from the sick effects of pollution.
Essay on Pollution (400 words)
Introduction:
We first need to know that due to which of our activities, pollution is
increasing day by day and spreading imbalances in the environment.
Earlier there used to be a lot of ponds in my village, but now there is not
a single one. Today we have made it dirty by washing our dirty clothes, bathing
animals, contaminating houses and throwing wastewater, garbage and garbage,
etc. into the ponds. Now its water is not able to be bathed or drinkable from
anywhere. It is on the verge of extinction.
Types of pollution:
There are mainly four types of pollution in the atmosphere -
Water Pollution - The
contaminated water coming out of the houses flows into the rivers. The waste
and waste of factories are also left in the rivers. In agriculture, groundwater
is polluted with suitable fertilizers and insecticides. Water pollution causes
dangerous diseases like diarrhea, jaundice, typhoid, cholera etc.
Air pollution - Hazardous
gases such as carbon monoxide, greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide,
methane, chloro-fluoro carbon, etc., are emitted from the chimney of the
factories and the smoke emanating from the vehicles running on the roads. All
these gases cause heavy damage to the atmosphere. This has a very bad effect on
our health. Asthma, measles, TB Diseases like diphtheria, influenza etc. are
the cause of air pollution.
Noise pollution - Humans
also have an ability to listen, all the sounds above that are enough to make
them deaf. The loud sound of machines, the loud noise emanating from
automobiles, which adversely affects our health. The pollution caused by them
is called noise pollution. This causes insanity, irritability, restlessness,
deafness etc.
Soil pollution - The
use of excessive amounts of fertilizers and insecticides in agriculture causes
soil pollution. Also, eating food stems in polluted soil has a negative effect
on the health of humans and other animals. This pollution is also spread in the
water flowing on its surface.
Conclusion:
It is very important to stop pollution. Environmental pollution is a very
big problem today, if it is not stopped in time, no one can save us from its
complete destruction. No creature present on earth can remain untouched by its
effects. The life of trees, plants, animals and birds etc. is in danger because
of us. We also have to protect their lives. Our existence is possible only by
their existence.
Essay on Pollution (300 Words)
As a child, whenever we used to go to our grandmother's house during summer
vacation, there was greenery everywhere. It was great to play in the lush
gardens.
I loved hearing the birds chirping. Now that scene is nowhere to be
seen. For today's children, such scenes are limited to books only. Just think
about why it happened. Plants, animals, birds, humans, water, air etc. Everyone
has a special place in the environment.
Meaning of pollution:
Man has blindly cut trees for his selfishness. Due to that, the atmosphere
has become unbalanced. Pollution is additionally the most reason for this
imbalance.
Let's know, what is pollution?
When undesirable parts within the air, water, soil etc. dissolve associated
begrime them to such an extent that health is adversely affected, it's referred
to as pollution. Pollution creates natural imbalances. it's additionally a
danger bell for human life.
It is the responsibility of man that as much as he has unnecessarily
damaged the environment by exploiting natural resources, now solve the problem
of pollution with equal understanding. Indiscriminate felling of forests is
also included in the causes of pollution. It can be controlled by planting more
and more trees. Similarly, there are several measures that can be taken to
reduce pollution.
Conclusion:
If we've got to give a clean, safe and rescue set to our next generation,
drastic steps have to be taken in this direction. And to manage pollution is
necessary not just for our country except for the whole world, so all the world
will live.
